Current Position
- Director of the Barli Development Institute for Rural Women since 1985
- Coordinator of an accredited vocational institute of the National Open School (an autonomous body set up for the
promotion of distance learning for school dropouts under the Government of India) since 1998.
- Founder and Editor of ‘Kokila: (Nightingale) started in 1993 as a monthly newsletter for neo-literates circulated to tribal
and rural graduates among more than with 136 issues. Currently renamed Barli Ki Dunia and circulated among 450 communities.
